• This confocal is ideal for triple labelling experiments with dyes such as:

  DAPI, Hoechst 33342, Alexa Fluor-405

  Alexa Fluor-488, Cy3, eGFP

  Alexa Fluor-546, Cy5, Rhodamine.

• The Nikon C1 may be used with fixed specimens or live preparations. It is equipped with a 37°C incubator 5% CO₂ and a water immersion lens and is well suited to time-lapse imaging.
