Nikon SMZ1500 Stereo Microscope

• This stereo (or dissecting) microscope is equipped for fluorescence imaging. It is ideal for low magnification imaging (eg. embryos), or where large numbers of fluorescent specimens need to be manipulated or sorted. It is also capable of brightfield and darkfield imaging.

• This microscope is suitable for dyes such as:

  DAPI, Hoechst 33342, Alexa Fluor-405

  Alexa Fluor-488,  eGFP

  Alexa Fluor-546, Rhodamine.

• For simplicity the SMZ1500 is equipped with a colour camera (Nikon DXM1200c) that may be used for bright fluorescent signals, or brightfield imaging.

• For low intensity, high resolution, or very rapid imaging, it is recommended the scientific grade camera (CoolSNAP HQ) is used.  Please ask for assistance.
